Touching Experience at Jeff Ng’s Live Performance
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of attending Jeff Ng’s live performance at Sentosa’s Glow Garden. It was an evening filled with music, joy, and unforgettable moments.
Jeff started with a soulful rendition of a popular hit, and his voice was simply mesmerizing. Each note he sang was filled with emotion, and it was clear that he poured his heart into every song. The lyrics were touching, and the melody was captivating. It felt like he was sharing a piece of his soul with us, and the audience was completely entranced.
Throughout the performance, Jeff interacted with the crowd, making us feel like we were part of the show. His humility and genuine personality shone through, making the experience even more special.
We left the venue with a heart full of joy and a mind full of beautiful memories, and look forward to attending more of his performances in the future.

To you who are going to Singapore in May, staying 2 nights in Sentosa is not enough to enjoy everything!
🏝 Sentosa is an offshore island at the southern tip of Singapore, covering five square kilometers, but the recreational activities on the island are even more abundant and colorful than those in the city area of Singapore. It is recommended to stay for at least two days and one night or three days and two nights to have enough fun.
📣 In fact, it is even more advisable to stay for at least two nights, because I stayed for two nights and still couldn't play everything, leaving me wanting more~
🔴 Must-do in Sentosa:
🔸 Universal Studios Singapore
The only Universal Studios in Southeast Asia, featuring Transformers 3D: The Ride, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Sesame Street, and more.
🔸 S.E.A. Aquarium
Located within Resorts World Sentosa, it is one of the largest aquariums in the world, where you can see manta rays, humphead wrasses, and the colorful underwater coral reefs. There are nine major thematic areas, a must-visit with children!
🔸 Adventure Cove Waterpark
Right next to the S.E.A. Aquarium, with six water slides, a wave pool, a surfing pool, and more, for a thoroughly refreshing experience.
🔸 Madame Tussauds, Trick Eye Museum, 4D Adventureland
🔸 The Southernmost Point of Continental Asia
To the south of Sentosa Island, there is a small island connected by a suspension bridge called Palawan Island, where you can find a rock marking the southernmost point of continental Asia. With white sandy beaches, swaying coconut trees, and the azure sea, the scenery is incredibly beautiful.
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
🚝 Transportation in Sentosa:
🔸 MRT - Take the 'HarbourFront Station' Exit E, enter the VivoCity shopping mall, go to the third floor to transfer to the Sentosa Express, the ticket price is ¥4, and there is no charge for leaving the island.
🚉 There are four stations on the Sentosa Express on the island:
▫️ Sentosa Station
▫️ Waterfront Station - Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Studios, and several hotels are all located at this station.
▫️ Imbiah Station
▫️ Beach Station
🚡 Additionally, you can also walk or take the cable car to enter Sentosa. The boardwalk is on the first floor of VivoCity, and the cable car is on the second floor.
'I've finally arrived at the other side of the Anywhere Door - Sentosa, you sure know how to have fun!'

4 Days 3 Nights Island Walk | Slow Travel in Singapore
I visited Singapore twice in 2016 and 2017,
just like most tourists,
I only had a quick tour of Sentosa Island.
So this time, I dedicated all 4 days and 3 nights to Resorts World Sentosa,
for an in-depth visit to this one-stop holiday destination.
If you also want to experience an island-style vacation without the intensity of a military training,
I strongly recommend you to allocate more time for Sentosa Island‼️
📅4 Days 3 Nights Itinerary
D1 Shanghai✈️Singapore
Arrive in the afternoon, head to Resorts World Sentosa, check into the hotel
D2 S.E.A. Aquarium, Universal Studios
D3 Adventure Cove Waterpark (Dolphin Island)
D4 Stroll around Street No. 8 and Marina Bay area for souvenirs, head to the airport, if time allows, visit the popular waterfall in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands near Terminal 1, ✈️back to Shanghai
🎫Tickets for S.E.A. Aquarium can be combined with a one-day pass to Dolphin Island in Adventure Cove Waterpark; Universal Studios also offers a joint one-day pass with Adventure Cove Waterpark
You can mix and match according to your preferences. The attractions are not large, and half a day for each is ample. They are also close to each other and can be reached on foot.
🏨Inside Resorts World Sentosa, there are six high-end luxury accommodations: Michael, Festive, Equarius, Hard Rock, and Crockfords Tower Hotels & Villas. They are all close to the attractions, and each has its unique room types. My personal favorites are the Ocean Suites and TreeTop Lofts!
🍴For dining, you can go to Street No. 8, which offers a variety of international cuisines. For more affordable options, you can visit the Malaysian Food Street at the entrance of Universal Studios, similar to the food courts in China, with many snacks.
🌃In the evening, you can take the MRT to the city to see the night view. The most recommended spots are the iconic Merlion and Gardens by the Bay. Additionally, Chinatown is great for a stroll and a late-night snack, where fridge magnets are very cheap, 2 Singapore dollars each! (Starting from 13 Singapore dollars in the Aquarium...)
🚇Transportation to Sentosa Island
MRT: The most convenient and fastest way
Bus: Bus route 123 goes directly there
Cable Car: Slower, but offers a scenic view on a clear day
Walking: I took the MRT to get there and walked back 8 years ago, the night view was quite beautiful
Taxi: About a 25-minute ride from Changi Airport, more expensive
💡Other tips
💰Most areas accept mobile payments, but vendors and small shops only take cash, so it's advised not to exchange too much money.
📶You can buy a data SIM card in advance in your home country, based on the number of travel days. Generally, 1GB per day is enough, and rooms have free wifi.

Take the advice, when visiting Singapore, you must check out this new attraction
✅ The 'Sentosa Heartbeat' which was built at the cost of nearly a small goal after demolishing the Merlion, finally opened to tourists on March 14th, and the key point is it's 🆓🤪
‼️ 'Sentosa Heartbeat' is a walkway about 350 meters long, and it is the main passage connecting Sentosa's Resorts World and the beaches🌉.
‼️ With six uniquely designed sensory gardens, relying on 𝐀𝐈 + 𝐀𝐑 technology, it integrates nature, architecture, and technology to stimulate a multi-sensory experience. The interplay of light and shadow, and AR technology transported me into the worlds of the ocean🌊 and forest🌳, giving me the chance to dance with fish🐟 and butterflies🦋!
✅ Interactive lighting time: 7:50pm-9:40pm
🚇 Transportation: Take the MRT Purple Line NE1 or Yellow Line CC29 to Harbourfront station, exit at Vivo City, go up to the third floor, and take the Sentosa Express to Imbiah station.
‼️ During the day, you can visit Sentosa's Resorts World or Universal Studios, but the 'Heartbeat of Sentosa' at night is the soul

Day 2 in Singapore 🇸🇬
Last year, we decided to spend our second day in Singapore roaming the streets of Chinatown, visiting Mount Faber Peak, and exploring Sentosa Island.
1) Chinatown Street Market 💰
Location: 29 Smith St, Singapore 058943
We spent the morning at the place filled with beautiful infrastructures, various stalls, restaurants, and food markets. I managed to buy souvenirs at an affordable price. It is indeed a must visit in Singapore.
2) Mount Faber Peak 🌄
Location: 109 Mount Faber Rd, Singapore 099203
After lunch, we ride the Cable Car at the Harbourfront Tower two to access the area. It is a wonderful experience to see part of Singapore from above. We stroll the area for a little bit, and then we are off to our next destination.
3) Sentosa Island
Buying the Cable Car Flexi Pass deal at the Harbourfront Tower two for $65 per adult is a huge advantage. We are able to have unlimited cable car rides for the day and were able to choose 2 free activities (Sentosa Bus Tour and Wings of Time).
With the Flexi Pass, we were able to explore Sentosa Island even with limited time. I really enjoyed walking around Resorts World while capturing a bunch of cute photos. A full day trip at Sentosa Island would be a better idea. To end the day, we watched the light and musical show called Wings of Time at Siloso Beach. It is absolutely worth it!

Affordable local eats at Sentosa
If you’re on a budget while on holiday in Singapore, meals at Sentosa island need not cost a bomb. Look for this restaurant called Good Old Days near the Siloso beach monorail station for affordable and tasty local food. Having eaten here a few times, the different dishes I order never fail to be flavourful and satisfying, while showcasing our local food culture. The consistent dish my family will order is the Hokkien mee, gotta try that one!

A treat for your senses
Visiting the island of Sentosa comes with lots of fun activities to do! This unique shop called Scentopia offers mini workshops about all things related to the sense of smell. They sell fragrances made from the plants and trees on the island itself as a tribute to their roots. We attended one where we got to explore the different profiles of scents and for a fee, created our own customised scent for our perfumes. Super interesting and tailor-made!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
